About Tech Ready Women
Tech Ready Women exists to bridge the gender gap in technology and entrepreneurship.
Since 2017 Tech Ready Women has been delivering world-class programs and events in Australia. Building on the premise that âyou canât be, what you canât seeâ, Tech Ready Women has become a nationally recognised brand and a trusted place for women to start, build and grow startup businesses and learn more about innovation and technology.

We have partnered with local and Federal governments, universities and organisations who share the same mission for increasing diversity in innovation, startups and business. Our success is centered around carefully planned marketing initiatives that inspire, educate and inform women about the possibilities in the industry. Our partners are values aligned and deliver valuable services that result in increasing the success of women in business. Together, we move the needle on gender equity and deliver real impact.

Tech Ready Women (TRW) has been recently acquired by Scalare Partners, an early stage private capital fund. Scalare currently makes 10 pre-seed and seed investments per year and already 50% of their portfolio are female led startups (April 2024). Scalare's investment team has committed to supporting Tech Ready Women's programs through access to investor resources, mentoring and will also leverage their wider network of investors to generate opportunities for program participants.

CHRISTIE WHITEHILL
Founder and Non-Executive Director
Christie Whitehill founded Tech Ready Women to bridge the gender gap in tech, empowering women to build startups. With 15 years of experience, she launched an award-winning program recognized for its impact. Christieâs vision is to make Tech Ready Women the go-to destination for women in tech and entrepreneurship, leaving a lasting legacy in STEM.
CRYSTAL MCGREGOR
General Manager and Program Lead
Crystal McGregor, TRW General Manager and Program Lead, is an entrepreneur with 18 years of experience running a successful consultancy in Central Queensland. She has co-founded and mentored multiple startups, including ag-tech Zondii and fashion-tech PUCTTO. Passionate about innovation, Crystal has secured significant grants, investments, and led youth entrepreneurship programs, disrupting traditional approaches with creative solutions.
DIANA ESQUECHE
Marketing & Operations Manager
Diana, our marketing and operations expert, ensures everything runs smoothly. With over 10 years of audit experience at companies like Ernst & Young and Unilever, she later transitioned to digital marketing. Originally from Peru, Diana now supports female founders in scaling their startups.
CAROLYN BREEZE
Director
Carolyn is an accomplished commercial leader with over 20 yearsâ experience driving digital innovation and commercial teams across a broad range of business environments. With her willingness to share her leadership and commercial expertise, she is also a sought-after public speaker and thought leader in the tech industry.

Director
Jenny is a strategy focused and results orientated finance leader, with more than 15 yearsâ experience in improving financial governance, working in and advising multinational business to high growth start ups undertaking rapid change and growth..
KARINA ESQUECHE
Graphic Designer & Marketing Support
Karina has a strong background in architecture, having worked on various projects and sectors. Driven by her passion for design and visualisation, she brings creative ideas to life. Recently, she's also begun exploring marketing support to expand her skill set beyond architecture.
